Ever seen the glowing face of a would-be-mom? She looks so visibly happy and in love with her yet-to-born kid. Many women consider maternity as the best time of their lives. Despite the physical discomfort and health issues, most women enjoy this time as they go through myriad emotions that make their pregnancy so unique. If you want to celebrate this time, maternity photography is the best way to do so.
Daniella Merinu was excited about her child from the first day of her pregnancy. From selecting names for her kid to shopping for toys and setting up the nursery, she was very active and enjoyed every bit of her mommy journey. She wanted to keep these memories alive and hence contacted us for a maternity photoshoot, Glasgow. Her excitement was palpable from the questions she asked us. We assured her of taking care of all her worries and fixed a slot for her maternity photo session.
Daniella is a lovely lady, full of life and positivity. She didn't want any dramatic photos but wanted us to be candid. She asked her husband to be a part of the shoot, the way he has been a part of her life. As a couple, they share fantastic chemistry which is evident from the first snap of this album.
Dressed casually, they posed before the camera, comfortable and all smiles. Can you feel their happiness? Yes, we all can.
Daniella wanted to rest a bit, and we took that opportunity to take another natural shot of them together, this time on a white furry carpet to add some softness to the shot.
You know, as maternity photographers, what's our most significant challenge? To make the moms and dads look natural. Most parents feel uncomfortable facing the camera especially moms, with their baby bumps. Moreover, they can't decide what to do with their hands which makes them look odd.
For Daniella and her husband, this didn't pose any problem as both of them kept their hands on her bump, as a sign of care and love. And this protective gesture, made the shots look stunning and effortless.
Motherhood is magical. It's a special feeling that is hard to describe. Most women want to look and feel special, and so we insist on a few dreamy shots that highlight the baby bump and make the women proud as moms.
Daniella chose a white, lacy, and flowing dress for her bump to baby Glasgow photography session. With the blue headband, she looked elegant and peaceful. She got ready to pose for us. It was a special bonding time for the mom and baby with her caressing her bump and showering her love on it. Maybe she was talking to her baby, singing to her? What do you think? Tell us after you see this snap.
The proud papa joined in to complete the family picture. He supported Daniealla with both hands while she preferred to touch her bump. The combination of white, blue, and smoky grey made this photo look timeless. There is nothing showy, but we love this maternity photo with its unique appeal and beauty.
We were delighted with this maternity photography Glasgow session. Everything went as per our plan, the shoot was smooth, and the mom and dad felt very comfortable, which was our primary concern.
Maternity photography is not only about taking photos of the beaming mother or her baby bump. It is about capturing the feelings and also the journey as a couple. Expectant couples love to talk about how they met, came closer, and decided to begin a family. So, maternity photography is chronicling this journey and honouring the foundation of your family.
Join us in blessing Daniella and her kid. We wish them a life full of love and joy...
